Service Description

Black Lotus Yoga is the latest blossom of modern vinyasa tradition. Though rooted in old principles, it gives tradition new life, welcoming improvisation within an overarching structure. With 6 balanced and exhilarating sequences, it reaches deep into the body, rouses vital energy and invites creative sap to flow. In this introduction we learn how Black Lotus works, to balance subtle breath and how to advance through the sequences over time. We learn First Series covering all postures and movements, while exploring internal forms of breath, bandha and mudra that bring it alive. Experience is not necessary. Ashtanga practitioners will find the system both familiar and refreshing. The whole system is new and you’re invited to share in the excitement.
