Join us for a whole weekend of Black Lotus. This is a new and exciting vinyasa flow sequence developed by Ty Landrum, International Ashtanga Yoga Teacher, over the past few years. There are 6 series in total with varying shades of white, gray and black in each series.
Now that you've had time to practice and play with Series 1, we're offering a weekend workshop covering Series 2. The standing postures are exactly the same and then it becomes more fun! In Black Lotus the difficulty of asana builds upwards so some of the second half postures will be familiar but levelled up.
We'll guide you through Series 2 starting with a led class taking you through white, gray and black options. Then after a short break we'll look at the postures one by one, taking time to explain the differences between the shades of white, gray and black versions and practice technique.
On Sunday you'll have the opportunity to practice what you've learned in a Mysore style class setting. We're looking forward to sharing this dynamic, fun and energising sequence with you.
Saturday 10am until 4pm with a short break after the led class. Bring a light snack.
Sunday 8am until 10am Mysore style.
